how we give back
For the month of May we chose to once again donate to a very special organization. Formerly Together We Rise, Foster Love provides some amazing resources for kiddos and teens in the foster care system.
We donated towards the Sweet Case Duffle Program, which gives kiddos something to carry their belongings. Thank you for partnering with us in helping to donate a portion to this amazing cause!
If you would like to learn more about Together We Rise or have a heart to donate, you can visit their website at:
We have chosen St. Baldrick's Foundation because of their dedication to helping to fund research for childhood cancer and create a greater awareness in our communities.
Approximately 1 in 285 kids in the U.S. will be diagnosed before their 20th birthday.

Yaaka Africa
This is a very special organization that we have learned about through our local home church. We have watched the partnership and the generosity of many allow for the building of a safe schools. Currently, Yaaka has four campuses and over 1700 students enrolled.
One of the recent calls of action was to help in the purchasing of mosquito nets for the kiddos. This tugged so deeply on our hearts, as this is not something many of us have to worry about when we lay our kiddos in their bed to sleep.
We were able to make a contribution to the purchasing of mosquito nets thanks to your support and purchase of our bows.
Phoebe's Fund is a local non-profit here in Northern California that raises money to help couples who have experienced stillbirth and infant loss seek the grief therapy that they need without the worry of affording it. October is the month to bring awareness to Pregnancy and Infant Loss, but truly this is an unimaginable reality everyday all around the world.

We absolutely LOVE this local organization. All About Hope gives hospitalized children and their families the tools they need to dream beyond the confines of their hospital room. The Hope Boxes include art supplies and projects that give children a much-needed distraction during their stay. It is an amazing organization that was created out of a mama's own experience.
A portion of our total sales for May + June was donated towards the Hope Boxes.

April 24th-30th is National Infertility Awareness Week. 1 in 8 couples are given an infertility diagnosis. Our co-owner Ashlee and her husband were one of these couples.
We are always looking to support organizations who are doing good in our world and for causes that tap on our hearts. The Bundle of Joy Fund was started by Samantha and Kyle Busch who have their own journey with infertility. As many may know the costs associated with infertility treatment are high and rarely covered by insurance.
You will often see Samantha sharing about her involvement in Washington D.C. to help create awareness and advocate for those who struggle with infertility. More advocacy is always needed and finding ways for more insurance carriers to cover infertility treatments is one of the areas that need. In the meantime, Bundle of Joy Fund raises money for IVF grants that are given to couples with financial barriers and wish for a family of their own.

While the holiday season is a time of cheer and excitement, it is not lost on us that it can also serve as a reminder of the realities of current life circumstances. To be able to help a family have a memorable experience during one of the greatest challenges their family is facing, is our goal.
We hope to be able to partner with you through the purchase of our bows to be able to love on a family and bring joy to a child facing a critical illness.
For November and December a portion of our TOTAL sales will be matches and donated to our local Make-A-Wish Chapter (Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California & Northern Nevada).
